Topshop.
Here's a small post showing Topshop's (the one I work at) 15 best sellers for this week are. This is calculated by amount of units sold (so the most popular). It is a very student based area, and I think this shows through the items shown. I thought this would be interesting to share with you lovelies so you can see what people are buying the most of near me. As always the Leigh jeans in various colours are in the top 15, as well as some of the cheaper pieces such as the slubby knits and motif tees! I already own 5 of the items listed, this shows the extent of my shopping addiction. Oops, Topshop you kill my bank balance! Oh well, it's uniform soon, hello 60% off! ha.
Which pieces are your fav?x

Sunday Shmunday.

 Top: Topshop £5
Jeans: Acid Wash Leigh's from Topshop £38
Nail Varnish & Necklace also Topshop.

Yes, I just realised my whole outfit is from Topshop. But for those of you who don't know, I work there so I guess that's a little bit of an excuse. Today was a lazy day which consisted of eating, a walk along the harbour and lots of wii gaming with the boyfriend (lovely), which explains my chilled out look. I love a plain tee and jeans, can't go wrong with it! I have my usual everyday make up which I've been doing since I was about 14, with the flicky out eye bits and lots of mascara, it has become routine now and it's a safety thing. (Will be braver soon).
Note to self: From today onwards I AM going to do an outfit of the day everyday...

Feather Ray is an awesome brand I came across one day after I was searching the internet for 'Feather extensions'. A girl at work had them in and they looked awesome, so I just wanted to do a little bit of research to find out more about them. Whilst doing so I found just the thing, Feather Ray. They are an online brand (although now you can buy them in Topshop Oxford Circus over the weekends) who specialise in these hair feathers. They come in an array of colours from fluorescent pink to a natural warm brown. This really is a new, exciting and easy way to pimp up your hair. They are literally so easy to put in too and are done so with little micro rings which come with each pack you decide to purchase. You get 7 individual feathers in your pack, varying in size, length colour and pattern, which is a good way to get variety but can also be annoying if you have your favourites (which I do!). They were originally £15, but they have recently gone up to £20 (must be due to growing popularity) but I think they are worth it! They last up to 3 months, but in theory if you treat them as well as you do your own hair, I reckon they could survive longer. They are amazing as you can straighten, wash, blow dry and literally care for them as if they were your own hair. I've had mine in now for over a month or so and they are still in perfect condition. I get so many compliments and queries over them so thought I'd post.
Do any of you girls have them if so what do you think? and what colours?

Sunday, 4 December 2011

Well, yesterday I went up to London town to try and do some Christmas shopping. As you can guess, it was pretty mental. There were so many people coming from every angle, a lot of hustle and bustle so didn't actually manage to buy anything for anyone else apart from me (ooosh!). I had a 30% off Christmas voucher from work (Topshop) so wanted to go up to London to the Oxford Street store to spend it (secretly the main aim of the visit). I will do another post about what I purchased soon, but firstly wanted to share my WAH nails that I got done whilst I was in the Topshop store. I've wanted to get my nails done by WAH for yonks, and finally decided to go for it. They are a little bit pricey and cost more for different designs on each finger, but I decided to go a little crazy! I went for the POW, Ying Yang and Polka dot nails, and my sister went for the Hot Lips. Mine cost £33.80 and my sisters was £32 (they work it out per nail). I love my nails but do feel they are a little overrated, I reckon I could learn to do them pretty swiftly, especially on someone eleses hand. I'm glad I got them done, but I think this will be the first and last time! It's too much money for what you actually get, plus they only last a week, pffft.
