Heart collar clips.
Photo from: WishWishWish
So after seeing these gorgeous heart collar clips on Fearne Cotton a while back, I was on the search for these bad boys. Unfortunately the site that sold them had all sold out (no surprise there!), but I eventually found a blogger who did a DIY version and I then thought how easy it would be to make them, so I gave it a try. I went to Claire's and bought some clip on heart earrings for £3.50 and also bought some old necklaces that had nice chains for £1 which was a bargain! (They have a sale on at the moment). I got home and cracked on with my mini project. Firstly I broke the chain apart (by literally pulling it until it snapped) and then simply super glued the chain around the clips at the back of the earrings- making sure they don't get stuck to the actual clasps as you will still need this to open and close over your collar... and voila. Simple, and will save you a few bucks!

DIPDYE.
I went a little dip dye crazy and decided to pimp out some of my old and tired clothes over the weekend. These shorts were bought in a charity shop for around £3 so I decided to firstly stud one pair and leave the other plain. I then decided to go that extra mile and dip dye them bright pink! I also did a couple of other items including a plain vest dip dyed pink and the other with a black/grey colour. I bought the dyes from Wilkinsons for just under £3 which is a bargain considering buying a ready dyed pair on the internet would cost a fortune! They have a range of colours to choose from, but I went for Flamingo pink hand dye rather than the one that goes in the washing machine, (for some reason this thought scares me! What if it breaks the machine? Dyes all my clothes pink? ahh!) anyway, for this you need lots of salt to mix in with the dye, which is a little bit annoying but hey needs to be done! The instructions are easy to follow, for a full coloured item you just mix the dye and salt with warm water and then have to stir the item continuously for 15 minutes and then regularly for the next 45 minutes if you want an item the full colour, (this is when you decide you should have chosen the washing machine option!) for the dip dye you literally just leave the end of the item you want coloured in the dye for the hour. Simples! It's an easy and effective way to make your clothes look shit hot! I'm actually debating making a few of these to sell? what do you think?x

Heart Clip.
 Shirt: £12 Matalan
Jeans: £38 Topshop
Collar Clip: DIY

Another stressful day at work, actually it wasn't too bad. I did a bit of merchandising of our Jersey department, and changed over a few mannequins at the front of the shop which was fun! Apart from that, nothing too exciting happened. Same sh*t different day. Thought I'd post my oufit from today, pretty laid back look. I bought this shirt yesterday for a bargain £12, it's such a nice material kind of silky, which I couldn't resist. Teamed up with my acid wash skinny Leigh jeans, fav!

I also made this heart collar clip after seeing it on Fearne Cotton on Celeb Juice, desperately tried to find one everywhere but to no avail. So instead, I decided to make my own! So watch out for my post on how I did it.x

Every week I'll be posting these top 20 branch best sellers (from Topshop), mainly because I already have to do it as part of my work on a weekly basis, but also because I genuinely think it's interesting. It's a chance for you to see what's selling, and what you may need to get your hands on quickly before it's gone. What's your fav?x

Spots & Stripes.

The striped nail wraps are from Topshop and were bought for me from my Topshop girls! They are quite easy to apply and look awesome on, unfortunately I kept getting air bubbles in them so they looked pretty shoddy close up. I'll need to try them out again and watch a tutorial on the proper way to put them on, as I think I just rushed it a little too much and they became really unsticky. They have some lush designs, and it's a really simple way to constantly update and change your style. Instead I went for some polka dot nails, I've used 2 Models Own nail varnish colours in Pink Blush and Beth's Blue with the Models Own collab Wah Nail art pens in white. It's literally the easiest design to do!x

Wednesday 18th January I turned 23, sob sob. I feel like such a granny! Anyway I had a lovely day, I went to Marwell Zoo with the boyfriend during the day, then travelled to my mum's (my home home) to spend some time with the Family. I also had to pick my pup up from the vet's as she had an operation on her tail, (we thought she had cancer, but thankfully it wasn't!). I had a lush Thai meal with the family, and played some silly games. I also got lots of lovely presents, most of which were for my holiday in March to Thailand to see my pa, can't bloody wait. Need some warmth on my skin I tell you that!x

Fisherman.
Jumper: Topshop £34 (but had 20% student discount, bargain!)
Jeggings: Urban Oufitters (old).

Just want to share my amazingly beaut new jumper. It's so cosy and soft, and for £34 (even cheaper with student discount) it's an absolute bargain! I love the colours of the pastel threads, it has pink, green, purple and blue all plaited together making this gorgeous multi coloured jumper. It's nice and long too, which I love at the moment. Perfect to wear with leggings and no bum on show haha!x
