 Here I thought I'd do a quick post on a few recent Topshop sale purchases. This is one of the things I love about my job, getting the first bargains! A lot of these items, (well most of them) were on my wish list when full price, so obviously when they went down I was willing to pay the new prices! I have not yet worn my glittery brogues but can't wait to! I want the sun to come out as I think they would look great with a cute sun dress. The cami is so cute, it's dipped at the back and is also sheer which will be lovely too if we ever have a summer, and the same with the bikini, ou est le sun? I'll probably have to wait until SEPTEMBER to wear it! (This is when I've booked holiday time, sigh). Have any of you grabbed some bargains at Topshop yet? If so what pieces have you nabbed?x

Frills & flowers.

Peplum Jersey Top: Topshop £16 and Floral Trousers £40

 The pattern is so stunning on these trousers, I'm not usually one for the floral print but I thought this was the nicest one I've seen so had to purchase on uniform. I'm really liking this smart trouser style at the moment from Topshop, they are very similar to my swan ones.

 For the first time I wore them, I teamed them up with my black blouse from Matalan (old), and River Island brogues £12 sale (old). I probably should have kept to black shoes for this look, but hey, you learn from your mistakes. It doesn't look TOO bad, just annoys me a little ha.

For my new Peplum top I paired it with my glittery lilac Leigh Jeans (Topshop £40) and my Vectra studded slippers (also Topshop £28), I learnt, black with black. I love this outfit, it's summery but not too summery, which is exactly what our weather is feeling like. This top is very similar to my other peplum top, but it is made from jersey rather than peplum. I do feel the peplum top sits better and holds its shape in a more flattering manner then the jersey one. The material also makes it feel and look more expensive, which is always nice. The jersey one is roughly £10 cheaper and considering the price, it does the job and looks very flattering. I think these tops are good for hiding a multitude of sins, so if you do have a little bit of a pop belly goin' on, the frill at the waist helps to hide it. They are slim fitting at the top which helps create it's flattering silhouette and if you don't mind your arms out and boobs sucked in then it's perfect for you too!x

Newbie.

Two of my most recent purchases. This gorgeous Peplum shell top from Topshop £24 and the Lemon Jamie Jeans £25 from Topshop too.

 The top is so versatile and really easy to team with anything, coloured denim, blocked denim and even bodycon skirts to make it look like a complete dress. It's ultra feminine and girly and not my usual style, but I think that's what attracted me to it! It's such a bargain for how many different styles you can get out of it! I decided to wear it with my Acid wash Leigh jeans (Topshop of course), and my gladiator sandals from New Look which are atleast 4 years old ha. The Lemon Jamie Jeans are awesome too, I haven't worn the two new items together yet as the weather just isn't right for that look just yet. Instead I decided to emo up the lemon jeans by colour blocking black on black. The slouchy top is from Topshop around £16 and my trusty creepers from eBay that I can't seem to live without at the moment.

I have such an obsession for coloured denim that has lasted well over a year now, hence my ever growing collection. I now have the yellow to add and probably many more. It's not my fault they keep bringing out a colour I don't own! Sheesh. Anyway was thinking of doing how to wear coloured denim post with different ways to style them, what do you think?x

Night out.

Hello hello, last Saturday I went out with my Topshop/Topman crew which was rather messy. I'm not sure what happened to me but I was SO drunk *cringe. Luckily I wasn't falling over or getting naked, but saying that I really can't remember too much of the night. (I just want to say here, that I hardly drink or go out so that's probably why it hit me hah!). 

Just wanted to share with you my outfit I bought on the day for the night out. I wore my gorgeous Topshop (last chance to buy beauty), which was a pricey £50, this is the most expensive top I've ever bought but with my 25% discount this came to £37.50 which I feel is much more reasonable. I don't have anything this sparkly and beautiful in my wardrobe so I thought it was about time to invest. I also wore some Topshop leather look shorts which were £30 (£22.50 with my discount) which I think is very good value for TS, I've wanted a pair of these shorts for aaages and I'm so happy I got them, they are super comfy and look gorgeous on. I think they're great for both casual and night out looks. I teamed these up with my standard new look heels which are reallly old, I seem to only ever wear this pair of heels out. I need to invest in some not-so-high heels as I'm a giant at 5ft 8 and a half (yes the half counts), so need some that look hot but don't make me tranny high, any recommendations? x

Dip Dye.

Most of you probably already know that I decided to dip dye my hair pink. I get bored easily especially with my hair, I mean I love being blonde and wouldn't want to do anything too crazy to the colour so that was out of the question, the cut is at that awkward length as I'm just trying to grow it out from an asymmetric bob (like Frankie from the Saturdays), so I didn't fancy the chop to go shorter (only real option)... so the only thing I could think of was dip dying. Yes I know it's not original, but no one I know actually has it so I thought I'd just go for it. I've wanted some pink in my hair for YEARS now, so finally decided to bite the bullett. I used two different dyes, the first by Directions called 'Baby Pink' and the second by Stargazer also called 'Baby Pink'. I bought them both on eBay for just under £4 each, (which isn't bad considering I'm only using a really small amount of dye each time- it'll last a while). Although saying that, this colour does fade SUPER quick, I don't know if it's because my hair is so light anyway? or just the nature of the dye but it's so annoying. After one wash the dye has practically disappeared, it is a semi-permanent hair colour so I didn't expect too much, but still, one wash? I may as well buy a colouring pen and do it that way... no maybe not, but you get my point. Any tips/advice would be much appreciated.x

Outfit of the day from last week (really need to update there and then). Anyway bought this 'Love Is Blind' tee from Topman whilst at work, I couldn't resist. For some reason I find it adorable, when really it is a little sick minded ha!. Simple outfit, little bit tom-boyish and grungey but I love it. I softened the look up a little with my black frilly socks and ultra girly make up.
