Sorry for the lack of posts recently, It's all been a bit crazy recently after finishing university...  I've still had to go in and sort out our Exhibition in London. This year we are exhibiting at 'Free Range' which is an Art & Design Graduate show at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane.

(Please excuse the dirty mirror.)
Today I found not one, not two, but THREE pleated midi skirts in a charity shop. At £2.95 a pop I couldn't resist buying them. I love the red one and wish I could keep it, but I don't feel this is a style that suits me... I feel this look is hard to pull off, as you can either look frumpy or just grantastic. Instead I have decided to put the skirts up on my eBay shop so if you fancy them, they're starting at a bargain buy of 99p! If not I'm sure many charity shops will stock them, or even ask older relatives (they seem to be a staple piece in any grandma's wardrobe)...

I've just started making rings and I'm hoping to sell them at my village fete in a couple of weeks time! If it turns out well then I may consider selling these online, or at other events such as car boot sales etc... I've wanted to get into this type of thing for aaaages, and now having finished uni feels like a perfect time to start and have a little bit of fun! x

Aztec Jumper: New Look
Shorts: New Look
Belt: Primark
Necklace: Charity Shop
Bodysuit: H&M

Today was my friends 22nd birthday, so I went over for a BBQ. Although the weather wasn't on our side and it did start to pee it down, I had fun. Thought I would just share what I wore...

Barry M.
I have posted before about the black Barry M instant nail effects, but since then I have also bought the white (not yet tested), and the pink crackle effect too. Here I applied the pink instant effect on top of a really light grey/white base colour, it worked so well and it's literally the easiest thing ever! If you haven't tried it yet, you need to! Give those nails an instant new look. x
A little book of treasures.
So, yesterday was my final day at university and my final DEADline!
So I am no longer a student, but I've decided I can still blag being one until my ACTUAL graduation on the 1st of July! These photos are a preview of the work I handed in for my final major project. I created a shopping guide showing the quirky and utterly fabulous stores I found within the South of England (if you click to enlarge the first picture you can read what's inside). I was really happy with the outcome. I'm just so glad it's all over and I can now have a life again... or for a little bit atleast. I was debating selling my book on Blurb, but would anybody be interested?

I am in LOVE with Tavik, and the current collection is to die for. Yes you've got to be brave to try the tummy showing monokini and some of these other styles but I personally think it's hothothot. The colours are bright and have a pop punk electro feel bringing it right back to the 80's. The first one is my favourite, but at £120 I think that is a little unrealistic considering I finish university tomorrow, and have no job in the pipe line, sigh. One day...one day...

This mood board is part of my uni work, just a little extra I thought i'd do... I've based it on this Spring Summer's colour trends. It's all about the bold colours, the bolder the better! Mix and match bright colours together, and embrace the new way of colour blocking.

Cocomaya Fine Chocolatier & Artisan Baker, I have to visit this place. It looks truly gorgeous and the goodies it holds within look simple irresistable. Not easy on the calories, but with treats that look and surely taste so good, who can resist? I especially loved these chocolate skulls, how cool are they?
Too pretty to eat. x

Kandee Jezebel Bootie.

Sam Edelman Lorissa Stud Detail Peep Toe Heeled Court

Louise Goldin.
I need to try out studding some of my own shoes. These are a tad too pricey for me, but they are so gorgeous, perfect for both day and night. I need to be more brave, and I feel these could be the perfect start.

I went to a wedding reception on Saturday night, it was quiet and sweet, but not my kind of thing! It was my old school friends wedding and it's weird to see everyone getting sophisticated, settling down, and popping babies out. (Apart from me... I'd like to wait a while please, I'm only 22!). I was really worried about what to wear, as I had never attended a reception before. So I decided to be safe going for a smart casual look. I wore a gorgeous Topshop Diamante dress, £15 in the sale and a New Look blazer, £20 (half price staff discount), as well as New Look black ankle boot heels, although you can't see them in the pic. My sister is wearing a gorgeous metallic silver dress from Dorothy Perkins £22.
