I thought I'd do a little stocking filler christmas gift guide for under £15! They are very 'me' and gifts that I'd personally think were sweet, so hopefully they may give you some inspiration for some gifts for the festive period.

1. First off are the make-up sets that are currently in stock and are a new idea this year from Topshop, they have a few different packets with various items and colour-ways so be sure to check them out. You can get one with a lipstick and blush, one with a mascara and eye pencil and another with two lip bullets (two different colours- obviously). I think they are a lovely idea for presents and vary between £10-£12 which is not too bad for the products you get in them.

2. My Future Listography Book- If you're a list writing lover like me, then I think you will appreciate this quirky little number. 'This illustrated journal includes over 70 inspiring and thought-provoking list topics focusing on the THE FUTURE, encouraging users to think not only about memories/places/things of the past and present, but to think about future goals and aspirations. All prompts are all new/original and span a wide range of topics, such as list cities/countries to visit, cuisines to try, classes to take, habits to break/develop, artists/authors to check out, and many more!'
I think this is such a sweet idea, and something that will be a great little stocking-filler.

3. These are a couple of super-pretty iPhone cases from Urban Outfitters. Pretty self explanatory really, but a nice idea if you're unsure of what to get someone and know they have an iPhone, or if you're doing a selection of goodies and need something extra to bulk it up.

4. SPOT THE MISTAKE (DOH!)

5. Again another cute little idea for a stocking filler is this lunch box from New Look. If you're anything like me and are busy working or are at school all day long, then the best part of you're day is LUNCH! So Yay Lunch! explains my thoughts perfectly. It's cute and practical, what more could you want?

6. This Bunny ring holder from Asos is just so precious. You have the ears of the bunnies to stack up rings onto. A really sweet item to put on your desk, or bedside table. Would look really cute as an ornament without any jewellery on too!

7.  These salt and pepper shakers from Catch Kidston are a lovely item to give to any avid-baker, or cook. I seem to have a think for mushrooms and toadstools but these are so cute and can help brighten up any boring kitchen.

8. Benefit Asos Exclusive One Prime Day, is a great gift to give someone if they've never sampled some of Benefits beauty items but want to, or they're wanting to try these specific items. It comes with some of their best selling lines, such as the That Gal brightening face primer, the Porefessional and the Stay don't Stray primer. For £13.50, I don't think you can go wrong.

9. Again, it's a mushroom, but this time it's a mug! How can you resist one of these cute things. And to make it even better, you can use the lid as a lid (yes, hold on!) and the lid as a coaster, or a biscuit holder. A 3 in 1 mug, I'm going to leave it like that, need I say anymore?... oh one more thing, they come in green, blue, pink and red.

10. A midi ring gift set from River Island, an easy gift for someone you might now know very well, or you're trying to fill up some last little bits of a stocking. Midi-rings are so on trend right now, and this particular set has a nice mix that would suit/please anyone.

11. Hello Kitty lollipop, everyone loves a bit of candy at Christmas.

12. I got given one of these Cath Kidston make-up bags for my birthday this year and have used it every day since. They are so useful, and are big enough to fit all your daily essentials in and are also great for travelling. You could also fill this up with some other little goodies, like your current favourite make up items, lipstick, nail varnish etc. and give a really personalised gift to someone. If not, it's perfect how it is.

Let me know what you think of the gifts I've chosen, have you bought all you're presents yet?

Here are my outfit posts for the last couple of weeks (not all obviously, and the first 2 are rather old). I'm not the best for being consistent, both with blogging and instagram but I do try. It's always awkward taking outfit 'selfies' at work as people think I'm odd enough as it is. So if there's someone else on lunch or in the staff room at the same time I just forget/avoid to take pictures of what I'm wearing. And to be honest, sometimes what I've got on is just not interesting enough. Not that these pictures are mind blowingly inspirational outfits or anything, but I have bought a few new pieces recently so thought I'd show you all how I style them. I've linked all the bits I could find on the Topshop website under the outfit picture so if you are interested you can find them that little bit easier- aren't I so kind?

As you can see I've been living in vans again, they are just heaven for my feet. I've recently purchased the all black pair (seen in the pictures), I also have an all white pair and actually an amazing pair of Hello Kitty Vans that both need to be worn, as either of them have yet touched the surface of the earth. I would highly suggest investing in a pair of Vans, they are worth every penny in my eyes. And again my ripped Jamie jeans do seem to feature A LOT in these posts but I swear I don't wear them everyday. Ha, they just seem to be great to chuck on without thinking about it, c'mon we all have those days where we just cba to think about what we're putting on.

Recently I've been wearing a lot of monochrome (as I said in my last post), I think it's because it's got so darn chilly that I just don't feel like injecting colour into my outfits. I'm in love with my Mom jeans at the moment with a structured or boxy tee. It mixes a more sophisticated element with a more 'grungey' (I'm wincing as I use this word) or 'old-school' (once again wincing) element to create an over all look I'm really liking. Also as I said before fluffy knits are everywhere, and I've totally jumped on that band wagon. I love them! Apart from being super-cosy, the texture really helps liven up any boring outfit. I love mixing different textures during winter, fluffy, leather, quilted, the list goes on.

Right I'm rambling, I hope you like these looks, let me know which is your favourite? Oh and yes I've changed my hair to a middle parting, what do you think?
Bye for now lovelies. x

Friday 11 October 2013

Topshop A/W wish list.
From left to right going from the top around clockwise: Knitted ladder stitch jumper: £34, Nails in Costume Ball: £6, Orange wool check skirt: £38, Knitted fluffy crew jumper: £38, Leather look tshirt dress: £52, Boxy fur gilet: £65, Argo boots: £92, Mono floral jumpsuit: £55, Quilted leather look tshirt: £50, Lips in Ruthless: £8, Holographic double zip purse: £12, Fur pom cable beanie: £12, MOTO ripped highwaisted Mom jeans: £42.

I haven't done one of these in a while so I thought it was about time. Topshop is killing me right now online with so many things I want to buy. I find that the problem when transitioning into Autumn/Winter is the PRICES! Everything just gets so expensive. I do think the quality is always so much nicer than Summer product with much more luxurious fabrics and prints, so that does justify it a little I guess.

I've been wearing a lot of monochrome recently, black, greys and white. I think it's the drop in cooler weather that's made me reach out for my 'darker' side. It's unusual for me as I do love a bit of colour, but hey, I'm embracing it right now. I've tried to include some brighter pieces in this wish list so it doesn't look so dull. I've included this lovely Orange checked skirt from Topshop which is just so darn cute, and the lime green laddered jumper which is great to grunge up any outfit. I do love a bit of a trampy look at times, hence the beaten up laddered Mom jeans thrown in there too. This style with a structured tee, bold lip and some chunky heels (*vans) is my go-to at the moment, it helps to enhance the outfit into a more pulled together look, rather than looking like you've slept in some alley way (no offence of course).

I've also (like everyone else) been LOVING fluff, by fluff I mean fluffy jumpers, crop tops etc. I now have 3 furry/fluffy jumpers 2 in black and 1 in a bright yellow-green and also a cardigan in black. I need to stop purchasing them, but everyone is doing different variations, so either a new colour or slightly different style that I haven't seen. Dammit it's bad for my bank balance but I can't resist. That's why I've including the gorgeous powder blue one from Topshop in here, it's so pretty! Primark are also doing cropped polo versions of fluffy jumpers that I really want to get my hands on for only £10. I think they can just pull an outfit together without you even thinking about it. They seem somewhat elegant and sophisticated. Moving on from fluff into fur, and yes, it's always a statement piece for A/W and I really want this gorgeous Boxy gilet from Topshop, it's super pricey but I think it will be something that I wouldn't take off in the colder months. Maybe this could be a cheeky Christmas present? Wink wink, nudge nudge.

Leather looking items are also catching my eye again this season, I'm really liking boxy dresses and t-shirts in this fabric as well as more structured and fitted tops and skirts. It's a sexy fabric but worn correctly can also be super feminine and sophisticated. I really want this t-shirt style dress from Topshop, it really would do all the talking in an outfit. Perfect for both nights out (which I don't really do) and day time looks. This and the quilted leather look tee from Topshop are high up on my 'want-to-buy-next-please' purchases.

And last but not least are these SEXY-MOTHER boots from Topshop, they are the Argo boots in a Pewter (oil-slick, holographic type colour) which unfortunately sold out in store and online before I even realised they were around. This makes me very sad, as there is rarely a shoe- especially a high heeled one, that I want this badly. I think it's the fact I know they're sold out which makes me want them more. They are one of those so ugly they're amazing type shoe, which seem to attract me the most. If anyone is selling them, or see's them back in stock, please let me know. I want these pretty creatures on my feet.

Right, that's enough rambling from me. What's your favourite look this season? Any pieces in Topshop that you're loving too?

Let me know pretties. x

Hello again! It's been a while. So here is a random combination of outfits, the last 3 are very recent and are actually over the last few days (hence the no root appearance), and the others are slightly older. I was meant to put in a post a while ago with outfits but didn't get round to doing it. So that explains why my roots are crazy long in the first couple of images. I do miss them though, but it's OK! Don't panic, my hair grows quickly so not too long to wait (I do know I'm the only one panicking- I just feel like a bit of a light bulb at the moment ha).

I am in love with my two most recent purchases and they are in the last two images. I actually got the jumpsuit on uniform so had 60% off (bargain!), and the black dress I couldn't resist buying, I also bought one in the bright pink on uniform so again 60% off which deffo helps my bank balance. I don't have many dresses believe it or not, I'm a bit of a Tom-boy really but I thought the shape was so effortless and flattering. Very simple but easy to dress up or down which I like, and that was my justification for buying it. With the jumpsuit, well I just don't own anything like it at all, the colours gorgeous and will be so lovely with a tan.

I need to get back into a routine of posting because I do enjoy it, but life is just a bit hectic at the moment. I just need to take a break and breathe for a little while. I hope you enjoy these posts even though it isn't the best photography.
Let me know what your favourite look is and will post very soon lovelies.x

When I said I would be doing 'proper' outfit posts with my 'real' camera, I lied. Well I didn't lie really, because I will get to it, but these last couple of weeks have just been mental. This week I've had a right mare with various stresses from work, half my tooth falling out, blood tests being done and generally just feeling poop. So these are a mixture of outfits from the last couple of weeks collated together for you! Please bear in mind it was actually nice and sunny in the UK when these outfits were taken (not so suitable now it's got freezing again, boo!). I think I need to start being more adventurous again, but I'm just too lazy, I'm quite happy in a cute crop and jeans at the moment. Which is fine, just not very exciting for viewing purposes, ha! Hope this inspires some of you somehow though. x

Another week in outfits, in no particular order. I have finally got my camera back and it's fixed, yippee! So hopefully I can get into a routine of doing 'proper' outfit posts with better quality pictures. This does excite me greatly, for now though you will have to enjoy another shoddy work mirror shot post. I'm in love with the Joni jeans at the moment and they keep bringing out different colours, ouch, this is going to be painful to the bank balance. I'm waiting on payday right now so I can buy myself some treats. x

 L'oreal Paris FeRia toning conditioner
 in Peach Punch.
Ok, so I finally took the plunge and tested out one of the L'oreal FeRia toning conditioners. I have been wanting to try one for aaages as I bought the 'pastel peach punch' and the 'pastel pink panther' a while back when they first came out in Boots for £5. I have been deliberating for a while mainly because I hadn't seen any reviews or images on the outcome which put me off. It's daunting when your hair is as light as mine! I've gone through too many shades of yellow and ginger to let it all go for a fiver! hah. It felt risky. Anyway, I bit the bullet and went for it, it was pastel peach time. My sister helped me apply the toner, it is so easy to do! It literally is a conditioner so comes ready mixed in a tube, it comes with the usual gloves to apply and has the easy step-by-step instructions. For hair that's bleached and as light as mine it said to keep it on for 15 minutes, so... my sister started applying bit by bit, sectioning off each part of my hair, (the proper way), and then I started to freak. I literally got her to smoosh it all over my hair super-quick, I rubbed it in like a conditioner with my bare hands, bish, bash, bosh, I left it on for a minute or so, panicked and then washed it out. I was screeching 'oh jeeze, it's SO PINK!'. Luckily after having a mini diva moment and properly washing it out, I dried it as normal and was pleasantly surprised.
The dye only took fully to the front of my hair (being my fringe and at the front on the opposite side), which is where she first concentrated on applying the 'dye' before I freaked out. I was happy with this as the final 'do' as I think the brightness of the colour all-over would have been a bit of a shock, considering I've never done anything like this before. I must point out one negative, although it was a lovely colour, it was a bright baby pink, NOT the peach colour it advertised on the package. After saying that I did compare the package where it shows the before and after images for bleach blonde hair, to the pastel pink packet I had and in fairness it comes out a pretty similar colour to the peach one anyway, so I should have checked this properly before hand. The colour washed out pretty much after one wash, which was a shame, but I think this is due to the fact I left it on a for a fraction of the recommended time. It is nice to bear this mind if you are a little scaredy-cat like me, IT DOES WASH OUT! I would only recommend this for light blondes as otherwise it's a waste of time, the colour simply won't stick. It would look great dip dyed, streaked in, or all-over, it's very versatile and it left  enough over for another go. Yippee!
What it says on the tin: 'Tap into the latest funky trends and achieve a fun pastel look. Add some flavour to your style that lasts up to 3-5 washes. Designed for very light blondes that know how to have fun. As easy to use as conditioner and works in 15 minutes!'

Apart from it sounding a bit like a 10 second speed dating advert, I would agree. It's fun, cheap and it works. I would definitely give it a go again and it's made me want to try the pastel lilac now too! I'm not sure why I didn't get it the first time around, for some reason I feel purple isn't me, but it's lilac, so it's fine... Back to the point, if you are looking for a quick and easy way to update your hair, then try it out fo'sure!

What do you think, have any of you tried it yet?x

Sunday 5 May 2013

Six.
White mesh top Topshop £8 (sale), Topshop Joni Jeans £36, Topshop neon scarf £12, Internacionale Jacket £45, Topshop Shoes £30.
Topshop petite floral top £24, Topshop acid Leigh jeans £38, River Island brogues £30, Necklace H&M £3.99.
Topshop fringe embroidered top £40, Topshop black Jamie jeans £40, Topshop shoes £30.
(DAY OFF), Chang beer neon top from Thailand, Topshop Jamie ripped jeans £40, Zara mini shopper £22.99, Vans £45.
Topshop jumper £25 (sale), Topshop Jamie jeans £40, Zara mini shopper £22.99, Topshop shoes £30.
Republic cardigan £20, Topshop neon vest £22, Topshop Joni jeans £36, Topshop shoes £30.

Here's another week in oufits for you (minus one day, not sure what happened there, my bad!). I seem to get into a routine of wearing one pair of shoes for the week at the moment hah and I only seem to realise when uploading these posts! These are my newest shoes from Topshop and are actually super comfy considering I'm on my feet all day. It's nice to be able to wear shoes other than boots now the weathers cheering up. My other newest purchases are the two white tops in the first couple of pictures, the white mesh tee which I nabbed for £8 in the sale and this gorgeous floral oversized top. It's actually from the petite section which I am obviously NOT, being 5ft 8ish, but anyway it fits really well. I love effortless tops that do the talking. I've only been back in the country a week and have already bought 4/5 new items, oops! I thought I'd show you a few of the new bits in this post...
I also picked up these neon bracelets in the Topshop sale for around £6 which is a steal as I really wanted them when they were full price at around £16. They are a great statement to any plain outfit.
I wanted these pale pink Joni jeans ever since I saw them pop online when I was out in Thailand, I resisted whilst I was out there and noticed that they sold out instantly in my size! As soon as I saw them creep back in stock I bought them pretty much straight away. These type of items just sell out so quickly. They are so flattering and comfortable and are my new go-to jeans (sorry Leigh's, I still love you... just a little bit less). With this online purchase I wanted to make my basket up to a cheeky over £75 purchase (to get free delivery), I added these cut out knee Jamie jeans as a whim to see if I liked the style, and unfortunately loved them that little bit too much to return them.
And my last new item which is from Zara and it's this UH-Mazing orange mini shopper bag which was only £22.99, it's such a good price and the quality looks and feels much more expensive. The colour is gorgeous and adds a bit of somethin' somethin' to an outfit. For such a bargain I couldn't resist picking up another one in white, which should be arriving next week. Eep, so much for being good and saving this month. Oh well maybe next time.
Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine.
